Join Jeremy Strubel (Breathwork Facilitator & Conscious Chef) and I in the stunning Santa Monica Mountains at AWA’Y for a deeply nourishing one-day retreat designed to gently guide you back into your body, your breath, and your innate connection with Nature. This intimate daylong experience weaves together plant wisdom, somatic practices, creativity, sound and mindful nourishment—offering space to slow down, soften, and connect.
Everything we surround ourselves with—what we ingest, listen to, see, feel, and think—contributes to our overall nourishment. This retreat is an invitation to spend a day deeply nourished in community, creating inner stillness, presence, and self-expression through intentional practices, creative play, and embodied movement.
To welcome the day's flow of events, you’ll be invited into a mindful movement practice, helping you reconnect with the body’s natural rhythms and restore a sense of ease and embodiment. Gentle, intuitive movement allows sensations and emotions to flow, creating space for integration and grounding.
I will guide an herbal tea ceremony experience serving Damiana, Linden, & Blue Lotus -all accompanied by music- inviting you to fully arrive and attune to the subtle intelligence of the plants. Through intentional presence, reflection questions, and sensory awareness, the tea becomes a grounding ritual and an entry point into the day.
From there, you’ll be led through a guided breathwork journey with Jeremy Strubel. Breathwork offers an opportunity to release stored tension, move stagnant energy, and access deeper layers of clarity, presence, and emotional freedom—always honoring your own pace and inner wisdom.
Creativity will be woven in through the day by using wild foraged plants to create prints with solar paper. You will also create your own personalized herbal tea blends, where you’ll explore your intuition and intention—crafting blends that reflect what you are seeking or wishing to support within yourself &/or for others.
We’ll gather for a nourishing organic lunch with light bites throughout the day, thoughtfully prepared to support you with sustenance.
This retreat is an invitation to step out of the noise and into a slower, more intentional way of being—where breath, body, plants, and creativity come together to restore balance, clarity, and connection.
The Day’s Events Include :

- Guided herbal tea ceremony with 2 plants along with mindfulness, self inquiry, and education about each plant.
- Breathwork Journey
- Guided herbal tea ceremony with 1 plant along with mindfulness, self inquiry, and education about each plant.
- Snack/Light Bites
- Herbal Tea Blending & Wild Foraged Solar Paper Printing (partially inside and partially outside)
- Lunch
- Closing
